Photo Sequencing

To prepare your photos, please follow these tips:

1. Please DO NOT bring photos in while they are still in their frames. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to photos or frames when presented to us with the photos in the frames. Photos do not scan well when they are still in their frames. Oversized photos, larger than 8.5" W &  14" L cannot be scanned. 2. DO NOT use pen, ball point or felt tip, to write on the back of the photograph, but if you must, do so very gently, making sure there are no other numbers present that might confuse us. On some photo papers ink may bleed through and pressure from the writing instrument can leave raised lines/marks on the front of the photograph.

3. DO USE a #2 soft lead pencil or easily removed paper, like "sticky notes," or plain paper, putting them on the back of the photo and using easily removed tape to reinforce their attachment. Sticky notes do not, by themselves, stick well to the backs of photographs.

We can make some photo corrections automatically to enhance them. Please keep in mind that photos which are small and/or out of focus, badly scratched or stained, cannot always be improved. A small (3x5) panoramic view photo with very small persons in them will not enlarge appropriately and will be fuzzy when enlarged.  You do not need to check each photo and we will put whatever photos you bring to us in the video, however, if there any photos which you feel may not be suitable, according to the previous information, and you may not want them in the video if they will not be recognizable, simply write "IF OKAY" to the right of the photo number below.          

Special Photo Captions   (There are a maximum total of 9 lines with 35 spaces per line available on each video frame. These can be placed above, through or below the photograph, so placement can be critical. If the caption is too lengthy, we will use our best judgment to include, modify or exclude it. For example: if you have a photo of 1-5 people and want to identify them in the photo, that shouldn't be a problem, however, if there are more than 5 and you want everyone identified, that may not be possible.)
